You sure don't think the Raiders and Al Davis can do anything do you? Maybe if the NFL wouldn't try every year to destroy their season and then push the Chargers to win the division they could prove you wrong. The Draft was outstanding in my opinion. They got the D-linemen they always seem to turn into stars and Murphy may be their best player on offense. Before you get on somebody's case about the draft look at this 2009 draft! Many of the so-called top 10 picks were drafted in later rounds so don't get on the Raiders case about passing up guys that were passed up.

First Ed let me just go on the record to say that piece you wrote about a month ago giving your "O" so intelligent sports opinion on the topic of "why the Magic would never beat Cleveland" really got me thinking about your intelligence level as a sports writer/fan. So let me just remind you of some of the content that was included in this piece. 1. Orlando has no chance of beating Cleveland, The Orlando Magic will never win a championship. Great point Ed, the best thing about this is the Cav's were the easiest series we have had thus far in the playoff's. Ok ED stay with me your article gets even better 2. Their best player on the court doesn't have one legitimate post move or jump shot. This might be the only point you made ED that has some truth to it. Dwight is our best player, and after that embarrassing series is now the most dominant player in the East. But I will give it to you ED, he doesn't have much post game, but does he need it?

    EVERYONE PLEASE READ ED’S PHILOSOPHY.
ED: They can't afford the most important players on their team. I have shared the philosophy with Ken on this and I'll share it with you. Your 3 best guys should align with who your 3 highest payed players are on your team, so this is ED and KEN’s philiosophy and now he is going to give us examples both for teams that go about his Philosophy and teams that don’t: In San Antonio: Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili. Highest paid, best players. Boston: Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett. Highest paid, best players. On the other side: Now, lets look at a couple of teams that don't follow the rule. Philadelphia: Andre Iguoadala, Samuel Dalembert, Elton Brand. Those are the 3 highest paid, however the most important player to that team is definitely Andre Miller. Golden State: Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins, Jamal Crawford. Yikes! Stephen Jackson's the 5th highest paid on his team, that's a problem.

Ok so now here is his the best part of all of this continue to read on:

ED: So here's my point. They originally signed up a core 3 players of Dwight Howard, Rashard Lewis, and Hedo Turkoglu. Jameer Nelson is probably the 2nd or 3rd most important player on the team, yet how good is Jameer Nelson really? Rafer Alston came in the offense looks no different. Rashard Lewis's contract ($109M/6 years) is utterly ridiculous. The simple fact that he gets paid more that Dwight Howard (until at least 2013) is mind-blowing. Furthermore, they cannot afford to resign Turkoglu, who arguably, is the most important player to their team. They don't get out of the first round without him, and they have no one else on that squad that can create their own shot. Its their own fault, they should've never signed Rashard to that horrendous contract in the first place (which they overpaid by AT LEAST $20M) and THEY HAVE NO POWER FORWARD ON THE TEAM!!! Can Dwight Howard get some help on the boards? I know he's Superman and all, but dammit can he get a goon to do his dirty work. He shouldn't have been the one to elbow Dalembert in Game 5, someone like Jermareo Davidson could've chopped Big Sam in the back of the neck and it wouldn't have been a big deal....To Be Cont

Ok now Im going to give everyone a minute to sit back and take a look at this. First lets discuss Jameer Nelson Just because he is my boy and the best point guard in the east. Before Jameer’s injury he was leading the league in field goal % from 16 to 20 feet, which is considered Mid-Range, he was shooting over 40% from downtown and was arguably our most important player getting into the paint consistently distributing the ball and taking the pressure off of Hedo to do so. Cleveland’s guard, Mo Williams, who had a family vacation planned for all-star weekend because he knew there was no chance of him being here got the sloppy thirds after Jameer, Ray Allen and Michael Redd got hurt. That was just something personal I needed to get off my chest, because I personally think Mo Williams is the 6th best point guard in the east.
Now lets move on to contract talks, because apprarently ED needs to be told again that he has no clue what he is talking about so here ED lets start at the top and work our way down. First is yes Rashard does get paid more than Dwight, but there is a reason for that ED. That is that it is his 12th year in the league and for 12 years in the league he has consistently put up numbers that make him a top small forward in the league therefore to determine what he will get paid, because of NBA Players Asscociation Laws, when you sign a top free agent they take the top 5 salaries for players that play your position and based of stats and other variables determine your salary accordingly. They don’t just pay the best player a lot of money because he is the best player, and I can see how to the below average ignorant sports fan that would make sense, but for the sports fan that has some intellect that makes no sense. This is why Ben Wallace is the highest paid player for the Cavaliers, because he was atop the league at one point in time for centers. So let me reassure you that after Dwight’s current contract he will undoubtedly be the highest paid Center in the league and maybe even the highest paid player.

So now lets talk about your philosophy and how once again you look like a complete moron. Right now the Magic’s three top paid players: Dwight Howard: don’t even need stats DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR is all you need to know, Rashard Lewis (Magic’s Highest Paid Player): 2009 All Star and averaged 18 pts 6 rebounds and 2.5 assists a game played in every single game this season and also averaged 36 minutes a game, Hedo Turkoglu: Averaged 17 points 5 rebounds and 5 assists and 36 minutes. Now the Cav’s top three paid players: Lebron James: Don’t need stats here MVP, Ben Wallace (Highest Paid Player on the Cav’s): averaged 2 points 6 rebounds 1 assist and 24 minutes and last but not least Wally Szcerbiak: averaged 7 points 3 rebounds 1 assist and 21 minutes. Ok so now I am going to let the people decide if your argument makes sense or not ED, and if they can’t come to a conclusion and don’t believe that your opinion is as valid as a 16 year old trying to buy a 6 pack of Bud Light then it explains why people actually read this garbage your putting out.

O and last but not least I think one of the most satisfying days as a sports fan was the day that I got to see the look of defeat on LeBron "I choke on Ron Jeremy's 12" pole" James in game six.
