Go To Training Camp, Now!

**Just a quick heads up, its Ed's birthday today as he turned 26. He's getting old, but make sure you hit him up on here or at twitter.com/edthesportsfan, back to our regularly scheduled programming.**

It seems to be everywhere; there’s no escaping it, no matter what. Every time I go to someone’s blog or Facebook profile, people are saying the same thing, or a variation of it:

“God, I can’t wait for football season to start!”

“Damn, is it football time yet???”

“If football doesn’t start soon, I will go CRAZY!!!”

I could go on and on, but I think you get the drift. Teams have started reporting to camp, and with that, football season is officially underway. With that comes a time-honored tradition around The House of Ken; one that began back in 2002, went on hiatus for a few years (I HATE YOU, Oxnard, California), but is firmly back, and in full effect: Dallas Cowboys Training Camp, which can be summed up in two words: roooooad trip!!!

Training camp gives every fan a good look at what they should expect, come opening day. There are fans of quite a few teams that frequent the site, but I honestly don’t care about what y’all are doing; it’s all about the Cowboys, and even though my expectations aren’t as high as they’ve been in recent years, I’m still gonna make the four-plus hour drive to San Antonio next week, to see my team get themselves right for the season.

So if you really want a first-hand look as to how your team is coming together, take a weekend, gas up the ride and make the drive to your team’s camp. It’ll be worth the trip.
