Ariza can guard both but their ability to splash J's make them more difficult guards. Especially Turkish Jordan. I think Hedo is what Stojavich could have been.

Ariza can guard Hedo or Shard. Neither of them are anywhere near as tough to guard as Carmelo.

Ed, I now understand your hatred for the Lakers a lot better. I hate Lakers fans myself and its part of why I hated them in the 90s. Had to wait until Shaq left b4 I could root for them again.

Phil, I hate Del Harris also. That guy let the media & fans decide what plays were gonna be run. He was terrible. Get out!

I disagree with you guys that Kobe's legacy would be tarnished for a couple of reasons. First, Jerry West's legacy is hardly tarnished. Second, Kobe has now repeatedly dragged a team that is really not ready to the Finals. That doesnt tarnish your legacy.

I'd start Pau over Odom for a couple reasons. One, I dont need him in early foul trouble guarding Dwight. Two, Pau guards the 3ball better than most big men do. He's got a couple blocks already out there. Three, Lamar STINKS at guarding the perimeter. He's better used by the paint. Four, if Scalabrine can guard Shard, so can Pau. Lastly, Pau might be able to put Shard in foul trouble on the other side of the court.

I enjoyed the read. I have to say I was never a Kobe fan nor a MJ fan. It's too easy to like them, and I tend to dislike ppl that are too easy to like.

As far as the Thunder draft, why take an undersized shoot guard? Doesn't Durant effectively do that already? The Thunder need frontcourt help and a point guard. There's a rack of point guards in the draft why take a small off guard?

I think the Finals hinges on how the Lakers guard Lewis and Turkish Jordan. Kobe gets one but who takes the other? Odom? Then you have a small double team for Howard, and he can either kick for treys or beat Bynum and/or Gasol. Go big on Lewis for a big double on Howard and Lewis becomes the creator for the offense.
