They definitely need a strong GM and some sort of an identity. Too much mysticism with Mangini. Way too much.

I would trade both those lame QBs and seek some explosion on offense. It's hard to pass on a franchise QB, but i'm not sure if there's one sure fire, Peyton Manning type Franchise QB out there. I'd vote for CJ Spiller because they need more big plays.

As far as cutting all the skill players, their older RBs can go (read: Lewis), but I don't think you can throw in the towel on the WRs they drafted last year so soon. Most receivers take a lil while before they "get it". I'd definitely, however, try to get a proven vet to help bring them along and make plays for the team (Boldin, Maybe?).

They definitely need a fiery QB to lead the offense and a Disciplined, smart coach to guide them.

As far as the Defense goes, yea blow that shit up. lol.

But I think the Browns GM was horrible and needed to be fired. They traded all of their talent at the skill positions (sans Cribbs), balked on trading Brady Quinn, and drafted a friggin Center, A CENTER in the first round last year. A center is a luxury pick for most teams, they needed an explosive player to help them. For some reason they were only looking for depth in the draft and not game breakers.

Honestly it wouldn't take that long, teams have proven that with a new mindset, focus, and a legitimate plan you can have a turnaround as quick as one season. Look at what the '08 Falcons and '08 Dolphins did. Look at what the '09 Bengals are doing.

It's kinda simple once you dedicate yourself to being winners. That mindset and the right philosophy will go a long way.

So basically, you wanna change the entire CULTURE of the Browns? A team this pathetic may need something that drastic. On previous Fix-a-team features, it was a player here, there. This one calls for a complete overhaul, but I aint mad at cha. Not one bit.

Lets say they follow the blueprint; how long do you think it would be before they were able to get back to the playoffs? It wasn't that long ago when Kelly Holcomb lit up the Steelers secondary for 400+ yards in Pittsburgh (2002 Playoffs, I believe). How long 'til we see something like that again?
