It's going to be an interesting season with Vick coming back and I'm excited about it. I'm not going to run out and by a Vick jersey but I want to see him do well. Everyone deserves a second chance.

McNabb looks like he really likes Vick's cologne in that picture..lol A little disturbing!! I think what the Eagles really did was keep any of their opponents from getting ahold of Vick. Also, they are going to sell a butt-load of #7 jerseys. That being said, I never thought I would see another true "Slash" utility player in the league. But when you have one of the fastest players in the league, who can throw, a offensive coordinator with a vivid imagination, and more talent on the offensive side of the ball that any other team (Including the Patriots) I wish I had a season ticket and beer spout on my armrest!!! It is going to be an amazing season for the Eagles.

I'm happy with this move too for all the reasons you guys said. I also don;t think he will takle over McNabb's spot. I doubt McNabb wants to see a repeat of last year's stretch. I don't support what he did but I'm sorry Stallworth killed a human being and got way less jail time than Vick. Anyway let me get away from that I'm all for second chances and can't wait to see how this works out.

My concern with this whole situation is that people refuse to give Vick a second chance. Most want to see him fail. I think the greater lesson from this is that you can make a mistake, pay the consequence, and be given a second chance to do something you love. For all the haters let the man play...he has served more time in jail than people who commit rape, murder, theft, etc. He paid his debt now lets see what he can do.

Side note...Andy Reid was hilarious when he mentioned he didn't know what he was going to do with Vick...He will not replace McNabb (who is a future HOFer in my book) but the possibilities are endless!

Cephas, leave the Philly talk to the grown-ups. The Eagles didn't do this on a whim. Everyone in the organization knew it was happening, and it wouldn't have happened without the blessing of McNabb.

Having said that, I'm stunned by this move. The Eagles typically don't make big splashes, T.O. notwithstanding, and he's not really a football fit. But the possibilities are exciting.

It's an interesting thing going on here though, because Philadelphia is a town that does actually have a strong dog-fighting contingency that is causing all kinds of problems. It will be interesting to see how the support and protests will play out. Things will be all sorts of crazy around here.

I really wanted to se Mike Vick in Pittsburg. Great fit, they like to do fun things with multi-talented athletes and its a much smaller city hence less chance to get in trouble.

With Vick in Philly his chances of getting snatched up for holding a dime bag of "dat purp" or getting into a gangland battle with some Sunni's, increase.

Lets not forget Donovan Mcnabbs biggest weaknes....his vagina. The man is as sensitive as they come. If Vick starts to steal his shine, or Andy Reid gets tired of him enough to give Vick a few downs, it could spell trouble in Philly.

Son, I was watchin the Skins get their head and heart handed to them by the Ravens when they dropped that bombshell. Of course I thought out an obligatory post about it.

Once he gets himself in M. Vick game shape, it might get scary for defensive coordinators. They were already gonna have a good offense now it gets fantasy football-esque.
