Romo does have questionable throws but the reason they didn't win against Washington was because they didn't run the ball enough. It wasn't because Jason Campbell is so spectacular. True enough Dallas lost that game but other than that they win.....THE COWBOYS WIN!!! Dallas won ugly against Cincinnati but they win!! There's other teams who haven't won a playoff game in some years too. That fact is highly overrated. Keep in mind we just left the Dark Age of Dallas Cowboys football which lasted from '97 to about '05. And say what you want about how shaky Dallas looks but last year at this time we looked great but look what happen. If you are on fire in the beginning the flames might get snuffed out in the cold of January. Instead this year Dallas is warming up until January when they become red hot. I liked Campbell coming out of college. I must say I do get tired of comparisons being a GBP fan and all. For 5 years they were saying someone was the next Brett Favre. Right.

Sad year for me as a stockholder. Ted Thompson the GM must go. I picked the Pack to 8-8 this year and was getting shouted down bigtime after they won their first two games. Not pretty sitting 2-3 atm.

Campbell has definitely come-of-age, but I don't know if I'd group him with Doug Williams. They both display Big Game capabilities, though. The entire Redskins team have grown up a bit. Sean Taylor's death might have sped up that inevitable process.

Thank you for talking about the Redskins. I love reading all this stuff. I was saying the same thing about 7-1 once I saw the schedule. Portis deserves some mention as well. I couldn't agree more about Campbell and Romo. Romo makes at least one shakey play a game and I think if Dallas doesn't make the Super Bowl it will be because of him.

Here is what I had to say about Campbell after last week's game in my NFL Weekly post:

I couldn't talk about the NFC East without dedicating some time to Jason Campbell, who continues to impress me this season. Now maybe Jim Zorn's west coast offense has helped Campbell, but I couldn't help but watch him during the game yesterday and start to think that he is maturing into a star QB for the Redskins. Campbell has been phenomenal this year completing 65.3% of his passes, while throwing for 878 yards and 6 touchdowns. Most importantly, the Redskins as a team haven't turned the ball over once in four games and certainly that is credit to the maturity of Jason Campbell. Campbell is getting little publicity right now for the way he is playing and I have to wonder why? Right now he is the best QB in the NFC East, not Romo, not Manning, not even McNabb. Sure, those guys are playing well, but Campbell is playing better than all of them right now and he deserves some shine.
